It's always been a tradition for us in the office to celebrate our little group's birthday. Here's Jos's birthday, San's birthday, Daniel's birthday, Brian's birthday and mine.
I forgot to blog about Nabil's and we missed out the other two girls birthday this year but 2012 is upon us.

Today we combined a celebration for two December babies. Since it's a combination of two people, we have lunch and a cake to celebrate both Hari and Melvin's birthday - both birthdays being in the beginning and the end of the month.
First, a lunch at Thai restaurant where we eat in an awkward circle mumbling appreciation of the food and taking in the surroundings. After lunch, a chocolate cake appears with tiny saucers and then awkward whispering of the birthday song to avoid attracting the attention of other people.
Here's to a series of more upscale birthdays in 2012. May we find better ways to keep secrets and new ways to surprise each other.
